Fremantle is famous for a lot of things but Freo is the spiritual home of a rock n roll legend, who would have turned 70 this weekend!! Chrissy takes a moment to take a look at the life of local Perth legend, Bon Scott.

• Bon Scott is immortalized in Bronze at Freo’s fishing boat harbor. All 157 centimeters of him are belting out an Accadacca anthem atop a 1970’s amplifier.
• The microphone is a real one that Bon used, and the Levi buttons on his jeans are real too.
• Doug Thorncroft is an ambassador for the Bon Scott Fan Club and is personally responsible for convincing Andrew Barker to bring his tribute show ‘Hell Ain’t a Bad Place To Be’ to the Fly By Night Club.
• It would have been Bon’s 70th birthday this weekend.
