- The Lancelin sand dunes are located directly inland from the coastal town of Lancelin which is about a 1.5 hours’ drive north of Perth.
- The dunes stretch roughly 2 kilometres long and is a major natural landmark in the area.
- Nikki drives through the beaches of Wedge Island, an area that covers roughly 4 hectares and lies 200m from the mainland.
- Cervantes is another great coastline worth the visit but also features unique rock formations called the pinnacles that can reach about 3.5 to 5 meters above the sand.
- The pinnacles support native wildlife including grey kangaroos, emus, reptiles and many bird species.
