With the weather slowly warming up, now is the perfect time to Rediscover Rockingham. Scherri takes a stroll along the shores and discovers all the amazing water-based activities that Rockingham has to offer, plus much more!
- Rockingham is a 40min drive from Perth and is easily accessible via the freeway, bus or train.
- Rockingham is renowned for its 37km of spectacular coastline and its safe, calm waters including the only North Facing Beach in the metro area.
- Rockingham has recently had a foreshore redevelopment which has made it an even more popular destination amongst families.
- There are many local cafes and restaurants to explore in Rockingham, such as Jaffelato which is famous for its jaffles, Bayside Barista with a locally produced Gluten-Free menu and Azacca Kitchen which offers share plates, local brews, and awesome views.
- Rockingham attracts many visitors to its shores for its many recreational or fitness purposes such as; diving, SUP yoga, snorkelling, kayaking and even beach horse racing.
- Visitors can choose many trails to hike around the Cape Perron Coastal trails which cover approximately 7.5km.
