Welcome to Australia’s biggest outdoors ice skating rink and your new family favourite winter getaway, right in the heart of downtown Fremantle.

• Showing you just how special winter in Perth can really be, this is the second year the Winter Festival has come to Freo now and things have only gotten bigger and better.
• Chrissy speaks about the 12-kilometers of piping and the amount of ice needed to cover the whole rink. Using new and efficient technology, the Freo Winter Festival now has a real life toboggan ride, which is 2 stories high, and a giant mountain slide.
• The best thing about the event being in Freo is the abundance of food choices around, not to mention the pop up bar and number of vendors set up right next-door. Make sure you pop into the Kids Coco Lounge after an exhausting day on the ice.
