The Fitzgerald National Park holds a huge standing in the conservation of this great countries flora and fauna and after its recent 40 million dollar facelift its impossible not to show it off.

Perfectly Preserved.

• West Mount Barren is accessible by a sealed road suitable for 2WD vehicles that runs off Pabelup Drive. From the car park there is an easy 2hr return walk to the summit.
• Fitzgerald River National Park covers an area of 329,039 hectares and lies on the central south coast of Western Australia, between the towns of Bremer Bay and Hopetoun, 420 kilometres south-east of Perth.
• From June to October whales can often be viewed along the coast at Bremer Bay or Point Ann.
• Wildflowers are in bloom all year round but are most prominent in spring (September to November).
• The Royal Hakea is erect in habit, growing to between 1.5 and 3 metres tall. Although the species is an evergreen, its foliage ages to various shades of yellow, orange and red.
