Ochre Dance School; This story singles out the recognition the lead dancer has received for his work as a role model discussing the discipline and opportunity to expressed his aboriginal heritage artistically and from a contemporary point of view.

• A long time arts administrator, Louise Howden-Smith has been recognized by Celebrate WA for her contribution to arts and culture.
• Her current venture, Ochre Contemporary Dance Company continues her trailblazing work.
• One of Ochre’s dancers Jesse Martin, has just won the WA/Northern Territory round of Dance Creation.
