The Everlasting Kings Park Festival is back to celebrate the extraordinary diversity and beauty of Western Australia’s famous wildflowers!

  • This is one of the world’s great biodiversity hotspots and our wildflowers are something to behold and celebrate.
  • Back in 1965, the government set aside 17 hectares of the park to become the State Botanic Garden.
  • In the 56 years since then it’s become recognized as one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens!
  • Every year in September we celebrate the spectacular flora here with a festival.
  • Trev gets to chat with the informative and incredible director, Sue Mcdougall, discussing all things flora and fauna, and of course that wonderous Blue Kangaroo Paw.
  • It’s time to rediscover WA’s incredible botanical beauty, and you can do it all right here in the heart of our wonderful city, at Kings Park and Botanical Garden!
