- The seasons are called Birak, Bunuru, Djeran, Makuru, Djilba, and Kambarang.
- Djeran is the third season in the calendar.
- The Djeran season starts around April and May.
- Djeran is known as the season of red flowers.
- The Noongar seasons do not follow the standard calendar year.
