It doesn’t take long, on West Coast Jet, roughly five minutes into your journey out to sea, you will find yourself in awe at the sight of these beautiful creatures of the sea.

• Jim Virtue, the Whale Whisperer has been working for Westcoast Jet for around 13 years, taking visitors on tours during the West Australian Whale Migration, which lasts around 7 months.
  
  
• Whales stop in West Australian waters to rest and recuperate during their long journey to Antarctic waters, they are expected to reach their destination by around December.
  
  
• As the Whales continue to migrate, in recent times we’ve come to see their numbers flourishing, ranging around a 10% - 15% population growth a year.
