As Carmen prepares to experience the annual Kununurra Cup, it’s time to get the party started a little early!
- A visit to the renowned Hoochery Distillery, on the sugar cane fields on the outskirts of Kununurra is a must at any time of year.
- If you’re a fan of rum, the Hoochery is a must! The tropical climate of the region allows for rum ingredients such as sugar cane, mangoes and molasses to thrive.
- The Hoochery is Western Australia’s oldest, continuously running legal distillery, founded by Raymond ‘Spike’ Dessert III in the 90s.
- The Hoochery is famous for turning their spirits into creative and unique cocktail and the lead up to the big race day is no exception with the Hoochery’s latest creation.
- Stop in and soak up the atmosphere and sample their delicious new gin varieties and imaginative cocktails.
