The Caversham Wildlife Park is not only a fun day out for the whole family it is also educational. Kids can get a very hands-on experience with some of Australia’s iconic native wildlife.
Up Close to the Animals!
- The park first opened in 1988 on just two hectares of land with a modest collection of animals and native wildlife. After expanding into Whiteman Park the wildlife park is now over 35 hectares and home to over 200 different species of animals.
- Everything is included in the entry fee from feeding the kangaroos and llamas, to having your photo taken with the koalas, to educational shows and talks from the owners. You can view times for shows here.
- Have a love for animals? You can join the team at the park as a volunteer to learn more about our native wildlife.
- Caversham Wildlife Park attracts over 160,000 visitors a year and is located only half an hour outside of the CBD.
