Trevor is in the states south west discovering the newly renovated viewing platform at the Cape Naturalist Lighthouse.

The Cape Naturalist Lighthouse sits 13km away from Dunsborough on the tip of the Cape as a warning to seafarers that the coastline is variable.
The lighthouse was built in 1904 and rises 123m above sea level, providing views out over the ocean reaching some 26 nautical miles away.
The viewing platform is the perfect location to watch the migration of the whales as they head north or south or just to take in the breathtaking views of the region.
The area is a biodiversity hot spot and overlooks the Cape to Cape track, which is a favourite for many people visiting the region and the terrain is rugged and spectacular.
At the end of the Cape to Cape track is the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, located 111km away where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet.
From late October through to late December, the wildflowers in the region are out in full bloom making the scenery even more spectacular.
Once you have finished your walk and taken in the views, why not visit the Café which has been installed in the old Lighthouse Keepers Cottage. Enjoy a nice tea, coffee or delicious meals and treats while taking in the serenity of the region.
