Some of the best spots to stay overnight while you’re driving yourself wild in the Goldfields aren’t always in the towns, they’re out on the stations and a station stay is a great way find out what life is like on the land if only for a night or two.
- Fraser Range station 100km to the East of Norseman is one of the regions oldest and most iconic pastoral stations. It’s not just a place to rest your head after a big day exploring, it’s a destination in its own right.
- If you’re not towing your own accommodation there are plenty of options at Frasers Range including the refurbished shearers quarters with their old-world charm.
- Although some of the best experiences being served up at Fraser Range aren’t courtesy of the stellar crew who run the station, Mother Nature cooks up some pretty good offerings of her own out here too!
