Trevor is 265km South East of Perth in the Town of Kojonup well known for its quality wool production, though not so many people are aware of the towns cultural significance dating back 50,000 years.

• The more recent European and Aboriginal history over the 20th Century has been fascinating and it all comes together at the Kodja Place with a museum, artworks and stunning rose maze a perfect place to stop for a visit.
• Importantly, one of the roles of the visitors centre is the public acknowledgement of the struggles and achievements of the local Noongar people since European settlement.
• There are incredible artworks on display, including works demonstrating the story of the six seasons of the Aboriginal calendar.
• The unique story telling is well represented in the rose garden, where the personal journeys and experiences of three women of Noongar, English and Italian descent come to life. The stories of Yundi, Elizabeth and Maria can be read on plaques throughout the Kodja Place gardens as you stroll through.
• Within the gardens you can find the Noongar symbol of reconciliation in the path, showing two cultures coming together as one.
• A stop in Kojonup is well worth it, to stop, explore and experience the incredible history of the town.
