Pete shows us how exciting archery can be in this segment.

  • The WA Archery Centre is housed at Whiteman Park.
  • Justine McLaughlin is the Archery Park Manager at the WA Archery Centre who runs the ‘come and try facility’ as well as the mobile unit that does school programs.
  • At the park the age range is 8 and above.
  • Archery is great for team building as it gets people to work together. It is also a very disciplined sport.
  • The arrow is loaded onto the bow above the arrow rest point and below the knocking point. Three fingers are placed on the strong, one above and two below the arrow.
