- It has an extensive history. It has been bombed by the Japanese in WW2, devastated by cyclones, home to a prosperous pearling industry and it is the gateway to the most incredible marine environment.
- The town has every amenity you might need as well as a brand new resort and beach club.
- The bar and restaurant offer a relaxed, laid back classic Norwest Aussie experience.
- The rooms are large, spacious and brilliantly designed with king sized beds, private ensuites, air conditioning, and ocean views.
