The Gingin Observatory was opened as a public observatory in October 2001 and has always been operated as a private business, co-located with the Gravity Discovery Centre, an hour's drive north of Perth. 

Gingin Observatory gives you the opportunity to experience the wonders of space through powerful telescopes.

Looking through a telescope is a great opportunity for learning and inspiration and Gingin Observatory welcomes children of all ages.
