Theo is a food guy so of course when we sent him down to Rockingham recently his first thought was ‘fish and chips’… These days however, the word is the culinary scene in the seaside town is really something foodies can sink their teeth into.

• After winning loads of admirers for his work at The Cabin in Mt Hawthorn, Shannon Whitmore and his wife, Brooke, opened Kent St Deli. A perfect place for a big breaky.
• If you’re looking for lunch, try Rustico, a slice of Spain, located on the Rockingham seaside that’s perfect for a long lunch. They do an amazing 6-course degustation with matching wines, as well as the Linley Valley pork belly.
• Latitude 32 is a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach; the evening sunset over the sea makes for the perfect seafood dinner.
