The nation’s centenary of ANZAC will surely be one of the most significant commemorations to take place in the lifetimes of most Australians, so it’s only fitting that we pay our respects to the last sight of Australia many Aussie Soldiers would have seen.
Once in a lifetime event.
- The centenary will take place from 2014 to 2018
- Albany was the place of Australia’s first official dawn service.
- The Australian Government will provide a $10.0 million contribution to design a national travelling exhibition to commemorate the Anzac Centenary. This mobile event will be used to travel across Australia including rural, regional and urban areas.
