Holly explores a fusion of Australian and European arts, culture, and dining in Shenton Park.
- The Orangery Gallery is a former local convenience store that later became an antique store. Now it has been transformed into a creative working space for West Australian artists and musicians.
- The Gallery runs exhibitions of well-established and upcoming local artists. Recent exhibitions include, John Cullinane, Luvieur and Susan Ecker. A variety of art styles and disciplines are on display all year round.
- In addition, the gallery runs concerts, recitals and other live music performances in the space, creating a unique atmosphere and allowing visitors to connect deeply with each art form.
- La Bastide is a slice of France in the heart of Shenton Park. Whether you choose to dine on the alfresco, sitting among vintage mirrors or sipping wine and indulging in a plate of oysters at their la bar bleu.
- La Bastide celebrates many French occasions with special events, from Bastille Day to the Tour de France. Partnering with international, national and local brands to deliver bespoke dining experiences, which include, Louis Bouilot, Truffle Hill and Vasse Felix.
- Their food is complemented with a range of carefully curated wine list inspired by the regions of Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Rhone. Each wine on the list is chosen to match with and enhance dishes in their food menu.
