Trevor’s stretch of the woods is here in the Perth Hills, and he’s going to show us a couple of his finer stomping grounds.

• Core Cider is a fourth generation orcharding family. 80 years cultivating the family farm. Venue includes Cider Tasting Room, Indoor Bistro, Outdoor dining, extensive grounds, and Function centre.
• It’s magical in every season, with lush greenery and gorgeous blooms in spring, apples and bright colours in autumn, stone fruit varieties in summer, and citrus in winter. The fruit is used in cider as well as spirits, wine, jams and preserves. Core produces over nine apple varieties.
• Open Wednesday to Sunday. School holiday programme includes- Plum picking in January, December twilight dining and January/ February summer nights- late trading including twilight fruit picking and kids activities. Live Music every Sunday.
• Lawnbrook Estate was established in the late 1800s. Originally an orchard, the vineyards replaced the fruit trees in the 1980s. Their first gin was released in 2021. Meals are prepared in house and their menus change with the seasons, Offering lighter lunches on Fridays and cocktail nights on the first 3 Fridays of every month as well as their weekend service, bookings are highly recommended. Private tours for groups of up to 12 can be booked for the cellar door.
• The Packing Shed Distilling Co is in the heart of the Bickley Valley – a beautiful region of the Perth Hills surrounded by native bushland, orchards and vineyards with meals that are chef prepared and served to order with everything made in-house. Think farmhouse fare with a modern twist and a menu that changes seasonally.  Generous gourmet cheese platters or their signature house made giant sausage rolls with relish. 
• Recent trophies at the Perth Hills Wine Show for their wines along with National recognition of their Australian Limoncello at the Melbourne Royal for 2 years running and other various medals for their spirits the Perth Royal, Melbourne Royal and Adelaide Royal have made it all worth it!
