• Sandalford’s estate had its genesis in 1840 when Queen Victoria granted John Septimus Roe, Western Australia’s first Surveyor General, 4,000 acres of land on the banks of the Swan River in honor of his service. In 1992, the Prendiville family – who have diversified national tourism assets – purchased Sandalford Wines and developed the estates into today’s highly regarded tourism brand which attracts hundreds of visitors from around the globe each day.
• Sandalford has received over 80 major tourism and hospitality awards in the past 2 decades including a Gold Australian Tourism Award for best winery.
