Jackson is embarking on an out-of-this-world adventure to see if he has what it takes to join the ranks of interstellar explorers.
- Scitech is a non-profit organization that has been supported by the Western Australian Government through the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation for over 30 years.
- Their mission is to bring cutting edge science to everyone, from children to adults, and to ignite lifelong curiosity in STEM subjects.
- Their latest feature exhibition, Astronaut, is a 3-zone exhibition that explores what it takes to become a space explorer through hands-on and full-body displays.
- The exhibition starts in the Training Zone, where young astronauts experience some of the challenges involved in becoming a space explorer.
- Then they blast off to space in the Rocket Launch zone in a simulated rocket ship, and finally, they experience life in space in the Space Lab, where they can learn about the challenges of sleeping, eating, and showering in space.
