- The Kununurra Cup is held on one of the most beautiful racecourses in Australia, nestled at the foot of the ancient Kimberly rock formation called the Carton Ridge.
- When racing first started it was said you could find nuns serving hot dogs, bank officers organising a tote and bookings slaking their parched and dusted throats from bottles of beer!
- Here in Kununurra is where true blue Aussie racing comes to life and where the entire town and Kimberley region have been enjoying the thrill of racing for more than six decades.
- Strut your stuff at the Fashions on the Field.
- Try your luck and place a bet with an old-school bookmaker.
- Witness all the mayhem during the ‘Socks and Jocks’ race, which has been a highlight of the races since 2009.
- As the sun sets, witness the magnificent orange glow of the Carton Ridge against the blue waters of the Ord River and enjoy all the post-race entertainment and celebrations.
