Trevor loves an adventure and Rottnest is full of fun activities. He hops on a bus tour straight to the West End to explore the flora and fauna of the area.
- The Island Bus Tour offers the hop on hop off experience for all those wishing to explore the natural wonders of the Island.
- It only takes 35 minutes to get to the West End and the buses depart every 15 minutes from 8.30 onwards.
- Other options for reaching the West End include the Discovery Bus Tour, or travel by Bike or with Hike Collective.
- Rottnest Island is a Class A reserve and is home to over 10,000 Quokka’s.
- The Island is home to unique birds and reptiles which live in amongst the vegetation of woodlands and coastal plains.
- The native wildflower, Rottnest Island Daisy, flowers each year creating carpets of purple in parts of the Island.
- From the boardwalks in the West End, visitors can often spot dolphins and other marine life. Marine life may also be spotted from the new viewing platform over Cathedral rocks.
