It’s that time of year again – Christmas is just around the corner, and the City of Perth is getting into spirit. Trevor heads into the CBD and follows the Christmas Lights Trail for some festive fun.
- Before heading out on the trail there are many food options available. The recently opened Betty’s Burgers is a classic burger shack, home to some of the freshest burgers around.
- Betty’s Burgers originally started on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Now, Perth has its very own one, located at Forrest Chase Shopping Centre, 200 Murray Street.
- Running every Friday night from 19th November to 25th March, the Twilight Hawkers Markets offer up a wide range of international cuisine, right in the heart of the city.
- These markets are the perfect showcase of Perth’s increasingly diverse food culture, with delectable offerings ranging from French Tacos to Crepes and traditional Indian Cuisine.
- The City of Perth Council House is home to Mooditj Yongas, the Solid Kangaroos.
- The St George’s Anglican Cathedral Christmas Projections have been a mainstay during the Perth festive season for a few years now, and they are spectacular.
- In Northbridge you’ll find the Lotterywest Constellation Tunnel. The 23-metre-long tunnel is a showstopper and is the perfect place to end your evening.
- There are 26 unique stops along the Christmas Lights Trail, including; Raine Square, RAC Arena, and of course, the spectacular Murray Street Mall Christmas Tree.
- The City of Perth Christmas Lights Trail is up and running until January 2nd, 2022.
