- The Argyle Diamond Mine is located in the East Kimberly region and is the only known significant source of pink and red diamonds.
- Argyle Diamond Mine has produced over 90% of the world’s supply of pink diamonds.
- Ivanhoe Crossing is a causeway built over the mighty Ord River.
- Water flows over Ivanhoe Crossing year-round and during the wet season the water level is too high for vehicles to pass.
- The Ivanhoe Crossing is a great fishing destination to catch Barramundi.
- The Pumphouse restaurant serves modern Australian dishes in a converted pump station with a spacious terrace overlooking the river.
- Mirima National Park is often referred to as the mini version of the Bungle Bungles and is located just north of Kununurra.
